DUBAIEmirates has expanded its global operations, now serving 137 destinations across 72 countries, as part of its latest travel advisory issued today.

The Dubai-based airline confirmed it continues to monitor global conditions while working to provide customers with increased flight options and improved connectivity. The update comes as demand for international travel remains strong across key regions.

The airline’s growing network spans the Americas, Europe, Africa, West Asia, the Middle East and GCC, the Far East, and Australasia, reinforcing its position as one of the most extensive global carriers. Passengers are encouraged to regularly check flight schedules and ensure bookings are up to date before travelling.

Travel options

Emirates has introduced a range of flexible options for customers whose travel plans may have been disrupted. Travellers booked between 28 February and 31 May can rebook on alternate flights either to the same destination or another within the same region, with travel permitted up to 15 June.

Passengers also have the option to request refunds, depending on how their tickets were purchased. Those who booked directly with the airline can submit requests online, while customers using travel agents are advised to contact them directly. The airline noted that unused portions of tickets within the same itinerary may be automatically cancelled and refunded once a refund process is initiated.

Adding to the flexibility, Emirates is offering one complimentary date change for flights booked from 2 April onwards across all cabin classes. Changes must remain within ticket validity, although fare differences may apply.

Digital access

Customers can manage their bookings through emirates.com or the Emirates App, where they can review itinerary changes, accept new flight options or select alternatives regardless of original travel dates. Additional services, including meal preferences, seat selection and chauffeur-drive bookings, can also be modified online.

The airline confirmed that passengers may make up to nine changes under the current travel waiver, which remains valid until 31 May. Updating contact details through the platform is strongly advised to receive real-time notifications.

Customer support

For more complex cases, Emirates continues to provide assistance through multiple channels. Bookings that involve cancellations, lack of confirmed flights, or specific ticket conditions may require direct support from the airline or travel agents.

Customers can reach Emirates via local contact centres, live chat services on its website, or by visiting retail outlets. While city check-in facilities in Dubai and Ajman remain temporarily closed, in-person assistance is available at selected locations including Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport, Emirates World in Jumeirah Town Centre, and the Emirates Group Technology Centre in Deira.

The airline reiterated the importance of checking flight status before heading to the airport and ensuring contact information is accurate to receive timely updates.
